Traditional plaster ceiling roses have been used for decoration throughout the years. They transformed plain ceilings, and large, high ceilings were brought to life too. In addition, ceiling roses were used as a feature to attach light fittings through. Unfortunately, they can be heavy. As a result, they need to be drilled and screwed to ceiling timbers. Consequently, this makes them difficult, time consuming and unsuitable for DIY installation.
Our lightweight ceiling roses solve that problem. Each one is made from polyurethane and weighs about a tenth of a traditional plaster rose, so you can fit one yourself without calling in a tradie. Apply adhesive, press it into place and add drywall screws for extra grip (we recommend three). The fine detail of classic plaster stays intact. Our ceiling roses are light enough for a DIY job, and the polyurethane is durable as well as easy to handle. Our installation guide covers the process step by step.
Some designs come with the light hole already cut out. Others are solid, so you can cut the opening to suit your fitting. We recommend leaving the wiring and light fitting to a licensed electrician.

They range from less than 1kg up to 2.5kg depending on the size of the rose. Even our largest design is light enough to post cost effectively.

A small hand saw or utility knife, adhesive (we recommend Bostik Nail It Fast Cure), a drill and drywall screws. Paint is optional.
Some designs come with the light hole already cut out. Others are solid, so you cut an opening in the centre with a hand saw or utility knife. Keep it no bigger than your fixture, just wide enough for the wiring to feed through.
Every rose comes pre-primed and ready to decorate. Some customers leave them as they are and others paint. If you plan to paint, install first and paint after.
You can order online and arrange to pick up from our warehouse in Clarkson. We’re open by appointment only because the team is often out on installs, so please call or message first.
Yes, we send them Australia wide. Shipping is calculated at checkout in our online store, but depending on the size of the rose and your postcode, some orders need a manual quote done by us. If that’s the case, or you’re ordering several roses, contact us with your postcode and the roses you’d like and we’ll quote an all-in price for product, packaging and postage. We’ll check different couriers to find you the best rate.
